Compact 10 DX / 12 DX : new generation

Haulotte Group is upgrading its 10 and 12 metre rough terrain scissors, Compact 10DX and Compact 12DX.
 
The machines will be fitted with a new Kubota engine which complies with the new Tier IV standard.
The new engine gives a significant reduction in noise and also reduces fuel consumption (-5% compared to the current engine) and emissions.

The new machines also have excellent rough terrain capability. The four-wheel drive, ground clearance of 27cm and automatic hydraulic differential lock enable our machines to climb steep slopes and work productively on the most uneven ground.

Aware of the daily constraints that an Aerial Work Platforms has to withstand, special attention was paid to the robustness. Thanks to the new design, outriggers are now fully included in the footprint to prevent damage caused by impacts. The bumper and design of the first step make it much easier to access the platform and make the machine much more robust.

These two new models also offer comfort and flexibility in use. The fully proportional controls are easy and smooth to operate. One switch deploys and now also will also retract the 4 outriggers at the same time.

The new upper control box is more durable and reliable thanks to:
- An improved of a connection and Bus Can technology, which is the easiest to connect and disconnect
- Sensitive controls replaced by switches, for easy maintenance
- A new paint treatment has been used on the control box to make it longer lasting (lifetime 4 times longer).

The quality of hood closure has been improved which is stronger and more durable.

New Options – available in June 2012, have been developed to complete the offer:
- Foldable guard-rails
- Hydraulic generator 2.5 kW
- Swing-door gate
