Why are “Saiga & Sogo” united?

In 2011 Saiga & Sogo, two Japanese companies, started working together on a rental business in Asia.

1. How would you define your strategy for 2012?
We focus on promoting the rental business in different countries in Asia both to Japanese companies, focusing on Osaka, and also to local companies. .

2. Do you have big projects planned over the coming years?
There are many factory construction projects as well as large building projects in Japan financed by foreign capital. In Asia, we anticipate a large demand for construction equipment for various projects over the next few years. Japan is investing a huge amount of money in ASEAN countries (known as ODA- Official Development Assistance) and hence Japanese companies have been actively involved in many construction projects in the region. Furthermore, nuclear power plants and Energy Allied Enterprise (EPC business) is expected to grow.

3. Which Haulotte machines are you currently using?
Optimum 8, Compact 12 and some straight booms - H14TX, H23TPX, H25TPX, H28TJ+, H43TPX.

4. Which characteristics are important for you?
There is no specific standard requirement for use of AWP in most Asian countries. Haulotte's CE standard can be an advantage in terms of product differentiation in some developing countries. Furthermore, ease of maintenance and excellent service support are vital.
