Haulotte Group inaugurates its brand new Brazilian Subsidiary

dsc_4300_300.jpgSao Paulo, July 15, 2011 - Haulotte Group, inaugurates its latest opening of its Brazilian subsidiary. Present in Brazil since 2002 with a small infrastructure for importing machinery and commercial activities, The Company has worked during the last year to improve its blue print, through an installation that it designed itself, to better serve its customers and stock more machines & spare parts.

Marcelo Bracco, General Manager of Haulotte Brazil, emphasizes the perfect timing for the company investment in Brazil as the country’s see at the same time economy and growing attention to worker’s safety. "Before, there was little concern about work safety, but today things have changed.” Marcelo said. “Nowadays, the market is more conscious and making changes, focusing on safety, productivity and quality of work in order to decrease the risk of accidents."

Located in Barueri, São Paulo, the new Haulotte Brazil subsidiary is five thousand square meters with offices, areas dedicated to product inventory and machine maintenance.
Haulotte's business strategy in Brazil focuses on brand consolidation, through development of the company marketing network, dedicated program for key accounts, service development and spare parts local inventory. To achieve these goals, the company is implementing 4 key initiatives:
- The increased spare parts department will offer immediate service to customers by holding physical inventory in Brazil.
- The service department will have a call center divided into: international assistance, technical training for customers and Haulotte’s technical intervention team for repairing and maintaining machines.
- A network of regional distributors throughout the country will increase service coverage and spare parts availability.
- All those operational changes go with a nationwide communication plan which implements a range of marketing activities to increase visibility and brand recognition.

Each initiative has an important role to play for Haulotte Brazil. "All these activities express as a whole the full spectrum of what Haulotte Group wants to provide in its message of Proximity. We want to thank our customers, and their clients who rent equipment - who work mostly in construction and mining, oil and gas, logistics, industry and entertainment, for the confidence they show us” Marcelo says.

In the first half of 2011, Haulotte doubled the level of recruitment in Brazil and grew sales by 162%. "We want to increase our presence in Latin America, especially in Brazil, where the demand is growing on a daily basis."
