At Haulotte, ethics are at the heart of our decisions and our sustainable performance. They are underpinned by a demanding framework — the Code of Ethics, the Human Rights Policy, the Anti-Corruption Code of Conduct and the Responsible Purchasing Charter — which guides our practices and those of our partners throughout the value chain.
Our structuring commitments
Integrity & ethical conduct
Our values — Respect, Commitment, Performance — guide our behavior and decision-making.
We strive to adopt a sincere and transparent approach, particularly with regard to:
- compliance with applicable laws,
- dissemination of reliable information,
- balanced governance practices,
- fair competition,
- management of personal data and confidential information,
- identification and prevention of situations that could give rise to conflicts of interest.
Respect for human rights
Haulotte is committed to ensuring a safe, fair and respectful working environment, drawing inspiration from major international standards (UN, ILO, OECD, Global Compact).
In particular, we ensure to:
- prevent all forms of forced labor and avoid any use of child labor,
- maintain strict zero tolerance toward discrimination or harassment,
- promote health, safety, well-being, diversity and inclusion,
- encourage constructive social dialogue.
Our various entities integrate these principles into their daily practices as much as possible and work continuously to strengthen them.
Fight against corruption
Haulotte adopts a demanding approach to preventing corruption and influence peddling.
We are particularly vigilant with regard to these practices, especially:
- the granting or receipt of benefits likely to improperly influence a decision (inappropriate gifts or invitations),
- facilitation payments,
- fraudulent practices and situations involving undeclared conflicts of interest.
Responsible Purchasing Charter
Together with our suppliers, we seek to develop a responsible value chain guided by widely recognized environmental, social and ethical principles.
Our key expectations include:
- compliance with environmental regulations, particularly those relating to chemical substances (e.g. REACH);
- implementation of actions aimed at reducing resource consumption and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions;
- waste management and a circular economy approach in line with ISO 14001 principles;
- a health and safety policy consistent with ISO 45001 principles;
- consideration of social and ethical commitments arising from international frameworks (UN, ILO, OECD);
- protection of data and confidential information;
- prevention of any form of corruption or fraud;
- application of fair competition practices and compliance with applicable sanctions and regulations.
Report safely
A secure and anonymous whistleblowing system (WhistleB) is available to everyone to report any ethical breach (discrimination, harassment, suspected corruption, non-compliance with human rights, etc.) and/or, more generally, any behavior contrary to the values upheld by Haulotte.
Reports are handled confidentially, in compliance with legal obligations, and whistleblowers benefit from the protections provided by applicable law.
