TV and film productions companies need aerial platforms for their rigging, lighting, camera, and special effects crews. Off camera, Haulotte machines help film industry’s teams to work at height with confidence.
Haulotte booms on the film sets
Haulotte UK collaborates closely with Media Access Solutions (MAS), a company specialized in the supply of Access Platforms to the film and media industry in the UK. Film crews are looking for a reliable, quick, and easy way to elevate to make videos or change the lighting. Haulotte HA20 LE PRO and Star 10 are particularly valued as they operate in silence with no harmful emission. This year, the UK subsidiary already delivered more than 20 machines, including Star vertical masts, PULSEO generation articulating booms and scissor lifts (Compact 12 DX and H18 SXL). Other machines have been ordered recently to respond rapidly to powered access enquiries from production companies.
All machines are painted black so that they can work on film and TV sets around the country.
“We’re proud to work with MAS who has been a loyal customer since 2017, their customer experience and part of their success focuses around reliability and excellent customer service which fits perfectly with the core values of Haulotte” said Natalie Reynolds, General Manager at Haulotte UK.
“‘We and our clients are very pleased with Haulotte machines, from reliability, safety, cost, service backup and quality. Our long-standing relationship with Natalie, Keith and the UK team were also a factor in this order. The paint quality of these machines in our corporate black is very impressive and a real head turner” added Tim Kendall, Owner and Managing Director at MAS. Haulotte Machines have so far worked on Star Wars (Rise of Skywalker), Bond 007 (No Time to Die) and Spiderman (Homecoming). Netflix TV shows such as The Crown and A Christmas Carol were also shot with the help of Haulotte equipment.
