Expert Code Control: a new interface for accessing Level 3 codes

Starting at the end of October 2026, E-Machine Codes (EMC) becomes Expert Code Control (ECC). Behind this new name lies the evolution of a platform already familiar to Haulotte technicians and service partners.

With a completely redesigned interface, ECC offers a more modern and intuitive user experience while maintaining its essential mission: enabling the generation of Level 3 security codes required for specific technical operations on Haulotte machines. Users can now access the service through a dedicated new address: ecc.haulotte.com

A modernized platform, the same service

For several years, E-Machine Codes has supported qualified technicians in their day-to-day work by enabling them to obtain the codes required to perform specific operations on Haulotte machines. With Expert Code Control, the objective remains unchanged. This evolution is primarily intended to modernize the user environment through a clearer interface, simplified navigation and a more secure login process. The new platform has been designed to provide a smoother experience for both Haulotte teams and authorized external users.

Why Level 3 codes?

Not all maintenance operations require the same level of intervention on a machine. While Level 0, Level 1 and Level 2 codes provide access to machine information and routine maintenance operations, Level 3 codes are intended for more advanced interventions. They enable users to access specific configuration functions, perform safety-related adjustments and carry out dedicated calibration procedures. The use of these codes is strictly controlled. Only trained and authorized technicians can gain access after validating the required competencies for the relevant machine families. This approach ensures that operations likely to impact machine behaviour or safety-related parameters are performed by qualified professionals.

Safety at the heart of the approach

At Haulotte, safety is a fundamental principle in both equipment design and maintenance operations. The machine access code management system reflects this philosophy. By restricting certain sensitive operations to trained and certified users, it helps preserve the integrity of machine safety settings while ensuring full traceability of all interventions performed. With Expert Code Control, Haulotte continues the same mission as EMC: providing authorized technicians with secure and controlled access to advanced machine functions through a platform that is now more modern and intuitive.
