Haulotte adds a 21m rough terrain electric scissor to its PULSEO range

In response to decarbonization challenges and the evolution of high-rise construction sites, Haulotte expands its PULSEO range with the HS21 E and HS21 E PRO, two 100% electric rough terrain scissor lifts that combine power, precision, and durability reaching up to 21 meters.

With a working height of 21 meters, equivalent to six floors, a load capacity of 750 kg/4 people, and driveable at full height with no load restrictions, the HS21 E unlocks new possibilities on jobsites. Its wide platform, extendable to 7.50 meters, offers optimal working space, perfectly suited to demanding applications.

Equipped with a 100% electric motor, the HS21 E is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, delivering silent operation with zero harmful emissions. Its maintenance-free lithium-ion batteries ensure fast charging and a lifespan of up to 10 years. For maximum autonomy on isolated jobsites, it is compatible with the Range Extender, a removable generator interchangeable across all PULSEO machines*.

Simplified maneuvers for maximum productivity

The HS21 E offers an intuitive and smooth driving experience. Movements and positioning are fast and precise, allowing the operator to stay focused on the task at hand. During travel, three driving modes are available:

2-wheel steering for standard maneuvers and movements
4-wheel steering** for more complex maneuvers, significantly reducing the turning radius for greater agility on the job site
“Crab” mode for easy lateral movement, allowing the operator to position the platform close to walls or structures

On large platforms, wheel orientation is not always visible to the operator. To address this issue, the HS21 E features an automatic rear-wheel alignment system. This technology simplifies maneuvers—especially during loading and unloading—and ensures a perfectly straight driving path when needed.

Intuitive and connected user experience

The HS21 E introduces a brand-new upper control panel with an integrated screen, designed to put the operator at the heart of the driving experience. Acting as a true co-pilot, it guides the user step by step to make operation easier, reduce handling errors, and minimize unnecessary machine downtime. The intuitive interface displays key information about the platform’s status in real time and automatically adapts to the installed options to prevent any confusion.

In the event of difficulties (overload, low battery, or other alerts), the operator receives immediate visual guidance with clear pictograms and illustrations, understandable regardless of language. This support strengthens operator autonomy on the job site and helps avoid unnecessary service calls caused by misinterpreting machine messages. This new control panel sets new standards in ergonomics and driving comfort while enhancing the interaction between the operator and the machine.

The HS21 E features a large 7.50 m platform with two extensions, offering a wide working area and extended outreach. Its 750 kg load capacity accommodates up to four operators and their equipment, ensuring optimal productivity on site. The foldable guardrail can be lowered in less than 2 minutes (only eight pins to remove), while the modular aluminum floor panels enable quick and cost-effective replacement when needed. Optional accessories, such as the central tube holder and the Material Handling Rack, make it easier to transport and handle bulky materials like pipes and panels.

The high-performance Lithium-ion batteries (IEC62619 compliant) offer an extended lifespan of up to 10 years. Their advanced technology allows for quick and partial recharging at any time, without requiring a full cycle. Backed by a 5-year Haulotte warranty, they significantly reduce maintenance and replacement costs. Completely maintenance-free, they ensure optimal reliability even under intensive use. A built-in heater comes as standard on the HS21 E scissor lift, ensuring proper battery operation in cold weather.
