Haulotte are celebrating another successful HIRE26 by winning the Supplier of the Year for Access award at the Hire Industry Excellence Awards. Held in Sydney this year, the Exhibition and Conference is the main event for the Hire Industry in Australia where suppliers, hirers and industry stakeholders can gather and share ideas, grow their businesses and create lasting relationships.

The success of the event culminated in another award for Supplier of the Year which is something that Haulotte strive to achieve each year. This is the seventh time Haulotte has received the award, this year being judged by industry peers. Accepting the award, Haulotte Australia’s General Manager Keith Clarke explained what this recognition means to the company. “We look at everything we do in the business and try and make it better. We ask customers how we can be better for them and strive to be better each year. I want to say a big thank you to the team back home for their continued dedication,” said Keith.
Innovation showcase & product highlights
For Haulotte, this year’s show was an opportunity to showcase some of the newest features on machines and remind customers what Haulotte stands for and what they bring to the hire industry in Australia. On the exhibition floor, visitors were able to see the features on Haulotte machines, up close and discuss how they can add value to their fleet. The all-new Extra Step for Scissor lifts allow an extra 49cm to the platform generated a lot of interest. "We listen carefully to customers and users. Features like the Extra Step are developed directly from their feedback and have broad appeal across multiple industries and facilities where accessing inside roof cavities is a requirement,” Clarke added.
Also on display was the new HA20 E PRO the latest edition to Haulotte’s Electric rough terrain range. It offers 100% electric equipment, producing zero pollutant and greenhouse gas emissions while delivering performance equivalent to a diesel machine. The machine is also stacked with options including Extra Reach, Transport Handle, FASTN and pipe carrier. “The transport handle is an addition to our newest booms and aims to keep people safe when loading and unloading machines for transport. When paired with the Activ’ lighting system, the safety of users is heightened” adds Keith.

The HIRE shows each year bring companies from around Australia to network and see the range of equipment and services that service the industry. “The success of the show is thanks to the customers active participation and drive to improve the industry. The HRIA do an amazing job at providing opportunities for quality interactions especially when teamed with the growing empowerment programs like Young Professionals and Women in Hire” adds Keith.
HRIA CEO James Oxenham echoes these sentiments and explains why suppliers are a key element of the industry event. “Suppliers play a critical role in the strength and success of our industry, contributing the expertise, people and resources that help it continue to grow. Haulotte has long been a valued supporter of HRIA and EWPA, consistently backing our events through attendance, demonstrations and training. This award for Supplier of the Year recognises their ongoing commitment and contribution to the industry,” said James Oxenham.
Australia is a key focus for the Haulotte Group on a global level because of their maturity and Safety focus. The CEO of Haulotte Group Alexandre Saubot was again in attendance at the event having made the 24-hour journey to be on the Haulotte stand to meet customers and gather feedback. This dedication to Australia was highlighted by Keith when accepting the award.
