We are looking for a qualified candidate to support our local entities by ensuring adherence to financial and operational standards. This role will provide essential insights into the functioning of accounting and controls across the organization. The position requires travel to our subsidiaries in Chile, Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico once or twice a month and will work very close to the Finance Director for the Americas.

Description

Responsibilities
•    Oversee and perform general accounting tasks, including accounting, treasury, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory management.
•    Collaborate with the accounting team to facilitate monthly financial closings.
•    Analyze actual results, generate internal reports, and develop both short-term and long-term forecasts.
•    Assist in managing bank accounts and treasury functions.
•    Ensure General Ledger reconciliations are completed across all subsidiaries.
•    Manage tight deadlines and oversee the period closing process, including preparation and posting of vouchers, while ensuring the accuracy of the general ledger and compliance with local regulations.
•    Utilize M3 ERP software to record, store, and analyze financial data.
•    Prepare monthly reporting packages and conduct account reconciliations.
•    Handle inter-company reconciliations.
•    Support budgeting and forecasting efforts, as well as financial planning.
•    Ensure compliance with government regulations across all international subsidiaries (legal, HR, and finance).
•    Act as a liaison between operations and IT for process improvements and implementations.
•    Assist with tax reporting and internal audits for all international subsidiaries.
•    Contribute to the development of reporting tools.
 
Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
•    Over 7 years of experience leading financial operations, with a strong grasp of taxes, accounting, treasury, and budgeting.
•    Responsible, proactive, and hands-on leadership style.
•    Experience in a global corporate environment.
•    Proven expertise in financial forecasting and budget monitoring.
•    Extensive knowledge of general accounting practices, including GL reconciliations, treasury, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory management.
•    Proficient in cash flow management.
•    Experienced in preparing monthly financial statements and managing month-end closing processes.
•    Strong understanding of bank account management and treasury operations.
•    Organized, collaborative, proactive, empathetic, assertive, and possess excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
•    Demonstrated leadership skills focused on team development and training.
•    Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced level).
•    Bilingual in Spanish (fluent).
•    Highly organized and process oriented.
