Haulotte organizes remote training in Africa

Training is a major issue in the people lifting equipment industry. The Haulotte Africa subsidiary has just held three videoconference training sessions for Premium Group, an authorized distributor that markets its aerial work platforms in twelve African countries.

Since health constraints no longer allow travel abroad, Haulotte Africa has set up a distance learning program to meet the demand of Premium Group, which is in charge of the distribution of Haulotte machines in Morocco, Senegal, Guinea Conakry, Mauritania, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Niger, Cameroon, Chad, Mali, Togo and Benin. More than 20 participants - sales representatives, technicians, workshop managers and spare parts managers - took part in this online training course.

The program included a detailed presentation of the group’s innovations, a reminder of the features of the PULSEO generation aerial platforms and familiarization with the latest Haulotte HS15/18 E scissors. The African subsidiary had planned an in-depth session on RTJ articulating and telescopic booms. Finally, the last module was dedicated to the Star range of vertical masts and to electric scissors, which are particularly popular on the African continent.

«We are happy to support Premium Group in the development of its teams’ skills. The distance training allows us to maintain the link with our distributors during this complicated period»

says Albéric Duriaux, marketing manager for the Europe and Africa zone.

«The digitalization of exchanges does not alter their quality in any way. Our collaboration with Haulotte is getting stronger as the months go by»

adds Loïc Lefort, Premium Africa General Manager.

These theoretical trainings will be followed by practical cases in the field as soon as the sanitary conditions allow it.
