At the beginning of September, Haulotte's German subsidiary took part in the Platformers’ Days trade fair at the Karlsruhe Exhibition Centre in Germany.
On its 250m² stand, the subsidiary focused on on-board innovations, in particular the new FASTN system.
The system was presented to the German market for the first time, arousing the curiosity of a large number of visitors throughout the show. Catherine PERRIER, an intrapreneur working on the design and marketing of the system, was on hand to demonstrate it on the Sigma 16 articulated boom lift.
The anchoring system is universal and can be easily installed on all types of aerial platform, enabling rapid deployment and set-up for rental companies.
FASTN works on the same principle as a car seatbelt. If the operator is not attached to the FASTN anchoring system while working, the system emits a visual and audible alert, just like a car.
For the German team, the show was also an opportunity to remind customers and visitors of the scope and performance of its 360° offering. With this in mind, the subsidiary prepared a number of corners on its stand to promote the additional services and advanced features incorporated into its products, such as the SHERPAL telematics solution..
"The Platformer Days, which took place on 08. and 09. September for the second time in Karlsruhe, have turned out to be the industry meeting point for us as Haulotte GmbH based in Germany.
On both days we could welcome many customers and interested parties on our 250 sqm indoor stand, to whom we could present our machines, solutions such as FASTN, Sherpal, as well as our entire other range of services. At the evening event we toasted with 71 invited guests to the successful fair and let the evening end in a summery mood. All in all a great success.
We are looking forward to seeing you again in Karlsruhe”
THOMAS WEGELER, General Manager of the German subsidiary.
