Haulotte attended the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) Asia conference held on July 17th in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. On this occasion, the Chinese subsidiary showcased Haulotte’s innovations regarding operators’ safety.

Haulotte aims at offering a best-in-class and safe user experience

Last year, Haulotte was the first manufacturer to become an«IPAF sustaining member». This worldwide partnership highlights the group’s commitment to promote the safe and effective use of powered access. Indeed, Haulotte developed many innovation-driven features to secure the operators.

Engineered to reduce the risk of overhead crushing injuries, the Haulotte Activ’Shield Bar provides the highest level of safety for aerial platform operators. The device is fully integrated into the control panel and combines simplicity and robust design. In an entrapment situation, the operator is pushed towards the bar and the machine stops automatically.

Haulotte Activ’Lighting System enables operators to safely carry out loading and unloading operations, even in limited visibility conditions. Thanks to lighting points placed around the machine, the operator can safely access, accurately control, and identify obstacles clearly in the working area.
