solarpisa.jpgHaulotte found itself in an unusual working environment in which its products had to demonstrate the flexibility to work with solar panels.

If there is a sector that does not seem to be affected by the crisis, it is the solar sector.  Driven in part by a growing awareness of environmental issues and secondly by a policy of encouraging financial investment this sector has experienced a sharp increase in recent years.
In Pisa the proposed energy supply of the future shopping center is through the installation of over 4,000 solar panels, positioned on parking shelters, covering an area of 7000m2. This work was entrusted to the company Campinoti & Bozzoni which also involved the hardware company Toscana Noleggi.
The telehandler HTL 3210 used with outriggers, combines high performance and compactness, ideal for such applications. The HTL 3210 has excellent maneuverability, which is essential for this type of work. High lifting capacity and precision of movement of the material is absolutely necessary for complete peace of mind.
Similarly, the articulated boom HA16 SPX and Compact 10 Electric Scissor Lift, made it possible to work effectively in difficult conditions. Roberto Vanni Toscana Noleggi commented: "The smoothness and progressiveness of the controls on these platforms, allows very precise positioning of the solar panels on the support structures and enables the electrical connections to be made with confidence.”
